Appia Communications Awarded Patent in Network Security

AppiaSecure wins patent approval on comprehensive enterprise network security framework

TRAVERSE CITY, MI - March 7, 2012 - Appia Communications, a leading provider of managed communication and network services, today announced today announced the award of U.S. patent (8132245) "Local area network certification system and method."

 The patent is for the underlying technology of AppiaSecure, which combines routing, firewall, and security management functions in a single appliance.
