And the cost for toll-free access is just 7.5 cents per minute – much less than other services charge. New features include:

• Conference recording, storage and playback
• Administrative blocking of unwanted or unidentifiable callers
• Enhanced moderator controls, including the ability to assign multiple moderators for a single session, allowing other moderators to exit without ending the conference.

Appia’s Fax Services Cut Costs and Clutter

Appia offers three fax services: Fax-to-Email; aFax, our desktop send and receive fax service; and aFax Send, for users who only need to send faxes.

Fax-to-Email delivers inbound faxes to an email inbox instead of a fax machine:

• Cuts costs for fax machine paper, toner, power, and maintenance
• Electronic archiving makes documents easy to retrieve
• Users decide which documents to print, and print only the ones they need
• Instead of faxes piling up in a tray, they become available anywhere users can access email
• Many similar services only cover small areas. Appia’s nationwide service allows users to establish local fax numbers almost anywhere in the U.S.

aFax is a desktop fax service that enables users to both send and receive faxes from their email account:

• Receives and converts inbound faxes to PDF
• Sends both the body of your email and any attached Microsoft Office and Adobe documents to any fax number
• aFax offers 750 pages in or out per month
• aFax Pro offers 1500 pages in or out per month

Finally, aFax Send is for users who send out faxes but do not receive them.

• Sends both the body of your email and any attached Microsoft Office and Adobe documents to any fax number
• aFax Send offers 375 pages in or out per month
• aFax Pro Send offers 750 pages in or out per month

Instructions for the popular Click-to-Dial from Outlook are available online. Just log in to Appia Customer Care and follow the “Click-to-Dial from Outlook” link. Please note that Click-to-Dial works well on XP with Office 2000 and 2003. You may find that it does not work with Vista and Office 2007.
