Did you know you can forward calls to your IP phone to an external number, such as your mobile phone?
1. Press the CFwdAll soft key. You will hear two beeps.
2. Enter the number to which you want to forward all of your calls. Enter the number exactly as you would if you were placing a call to that number. An animated phone icon flashes in the upper-right corner of your LCD screen.
3. To cancel call forwarding, press the CFwdAll soft key. | ||

New Fax to Email/Email to Fax Service
Appia has just released a new service, which allows you to send and receive faxes from your desktop, using your Outlook client. Saves time, paper, and fax machine supplies!
Two versions of aFax are available:
- aFax – 750 pages per month of inbound or outbound faxes for $12.50 per month
- aFax Pro – 1,500 in- or outbound pages per month for $22.50
Both plans have a one-time set up charge of $15 and additional pages are 10 cents each.
VoIP Security
Appia has made available a white paper on VoIP Security. “VoIP security is not yet a major problem, but if the history of the Internet is any guide, it will be,” said Victor von Schlegell, Appia’s president and the paper’s author.
“The purpose of the paper is to provide a brief, high-level, non-technical overview of the challenges of VoIP security. Our goal is to inform owners and managers so that they can ensure that their organizations are prepared when VoIP security becomes an issue,” continued von Schlegell.
