Let Your Phone Do the Walking:
Dial Out from Outlook
Did you know that your IP phone can dial contacts straight from Outlook with just a couple clicks of your mouse? Once enabled, it works like this:
- Open your “Contacts” list in Outlook
- Right-click on the contact you want to call and select “Call Contact” from the pop-up menu
- Click “Start Call.” Your IP phone will go right to speakerphone and dial the number for you.

Calling All Receptionists...
We’ve developed a new call-park feature you may find useful.
When a parked call goes unanswered, it rings back after two minutes. This can be embarrassing; you might answer as if it were a new call, without acknowledging that the caller has already been on hold.
With this new feature, we can now ring the call back to a designated park line on an IP phone, complete with caller ID. Or we can send the caller directly to a specified auto-attendant greeting with further options.
We can do this for any IP phone with an open line, whether it’s at reception, on a shop floor, or for any user who needs to park calls.
