AppiaSecure’s patent-pending approach uses digital certificates to control both internal and external access to the network. When users log in, AppiaSecure checks whether operating system patches and anti-virus definitions are up to date. It also verifies that the applications users have installed on their PCs are allowed on the network. User accounts and certificate settings are managed through AppiaSecure’s Web-based interface. The solution’s secure portal allows IT executives to establish access levels for network administrators, who then set the policies for individual users.
