- Allows both two way and broadcast communications. You can use AVC for video conferences, but also for training sessions, announcements, and other settings in which one-way communication is desired.
. - Supports multiple settings. AVC allows you to hold a session at more than one display resolution, including a 1280x720, 30 frames per second telepresence experience. This means that the participants in your video sessions can attend even if they do not have an abundance of bandwidth available.
. - Includes free video decoding. If you intend to use video communications mainly for broadcast, there is no cost to the people who attend. They simply download and install a free application.
. - Saves on bandwidth. Video conferences often require that one site provide the audio and video content to the other sites in the conference. This site needs to have sufficient bandwidth both to upload its own content and to distribute content to the other sites.
